Best fish quality Ive found in Madison. Prefer it to red. Usually the salmon or yellowtail impresses the most. Not the fastest service or fanciest decor but I always like the food.
First time ordering from this restaurant and I loved the California roll maki, highly recommended! Fried calamari was a lil soggy as the delivery was delayed but still flavorful Loved the simple ramen broth as well!

My family and have never had a bad experience at Takara. Good service good food leave feeling we ate a healthy meal. Go early on a Saturday or Sunday they are scrubbing down the restaurant from table legs table tops. Our favorite sushi restaurant and the price is very good. We go around 23 times a month.
